This is a short post, but I am fascinated by the cicadas! They LOVE our elm that is out back. They are all over it. And I have now learned that cicadas turn brown after they come out of their shells. I was convinced that I had found an albino.
Another side note, much to my happiness, my uncle has trimmed several of our trees, meaning I might be able to mow without getting all scraped up!

Oh, you mow the lawn also, Shiloh?! So do I! I really enjoy mowing :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I really like the background :) Did you change it?

@Shiloh, Hahaha! I thought you would be surprised at the color changing Cicadas, to be honest I was too...

ReplyDeleteYes, I mow the lawn. I really enjoy it. I wasn't the one who changed the background this time, I think Payton might have. There is a story behind the title. Maybe you can convince someone to tell it...!

I really enjoy mowing the lawn also! It's a lot of fun, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteAh, so it was you, Will, who changed the background?! Would someone PLEASE tell me why you changed it?! I would really enjoy hearing :)
Greetings!

I did change it John.... As for the story.... We might have to post it sometime, but I'll tell you right now here.
ReplyDeleteWe were dipping about 200 strawberries in chocolate for a baby shower and we decided to wash them... The Chocolate globs up if any wetness gets into it. So we had to dry ALL the strawberries. But we forgot to wash one package of strawberries... then Shiloh made the following statement:
"The Ones we didn't wet aren't wet."
That was slightly obvious... So we have teased Shiloh about it ever since.
:) Have a great week.
