Meet...Kylie.....For real!

Hello there, I'm Kylie, The one who was being "bad" and not wanting to post earlier. Now I'm going to "be pride to myself", and talk about ME for awhile. ;)

I'm a 17 yr old girl who isn't very good at describing herself, but is now going to give it a shot! I have two sisters, Payton, whom you've already met, and Gracie. I'm very talkative, and I have a tendency to be very goofy, but I also can be very timid at times. I know, it's a weird combination!

My favorite foods are CHOCOLATE, chocolate covered cherries, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered nuts, chocolate covered blueberries, chocolate covered espresso beans, chocolate covered apricots, chocolate covered strawberries (and pretty much anything else covered in chocolate! Hehehe), Americanized Chinese, cheese, pickles, anything hot and spicy, pistachio nuts, etc, etc, etc! I've got a lot of favorites....maybe I would of been better off just telling you what I don't like! (Which is shrimp, pickled beets, and clams.) Did I mention doughnuts on my like list? Doughnuts are not just on my like list, they're on my LOVE list! Now I need to go find a doughnut shop with in walking distance..... :)

Doughnuts = <3

I like are: Spanish, rollerskating, eating doughnuts, cooking, cooking foreign recipes, rain, snow, ice, other cultures, and ships/ocean even though I've never seen the ocean. :) I like many more things that are eluding my brain right now, but if I think of them later, I will update.

One of my favorite things to do is hang out with my dear family. (Shiloh included!) We have so many fun and silly times together, some of which I'm sure you'll see typed up here.

I would say more about myself, but I'm not thinking very straight right now, so if you want to find out more about me, go to my profile, and as soon as I remember to fill it out, you can read more. Until then, you'll just have to sit staring at an empty profile....Have fun! Hehehe.

P.S I just noticed that my food section is the longest in this entire thing! Go figure. ;)

  1. Yay! A post from Kylie! It seems like we have a lot in common...especially the liking of chocolate :) I also like chocolate, maybe a little to much *sheepish grin* I don't like shrimp, which, I have never had before...but it doesn't sound the best. I don't think I would care for pickled beet...which, once again, I don't think I've had before.

    Enjoyed getting to know you some, Kylie!

  3. Hi there Bethany! It's good to see you here. Payton has told me a lot about you! I hope to get to know you better through this blog. (Although frankly I'm terrible at updating and posting comments! ;) Yes, chocolate is something that is much too easy to love excessively...as well as cheesecake, there's another item for my like list! :) Some people really like shrimp, but it just smells too awful for me to eat! :P Pickled beets taste just like a really old shoe that has been sitting outside covered in mud for a couple of years! Not the most pleasant thing to eat... My Grandpa agrees with me about the shoe taste, but he still likes them! Very strange... Hehehe.

    It's been good to get to know the girl who goes by the name of John! :)

Rainy Day Fun

Yesterday it rained hard for a while and the bottom of our street was pleasantly 'splashy'  We took our umbrellas   and took off our shoes and had a grand time soaking each other by splashing with our feet. We would run up and down the street making great waves that soaked the person in front of you.   Then Shiloh joined the fun!  Even though she didn't have a change of clothes.  (You are such a good sport!)  :)  It was so fun until our neighbor started slowing down as he passed by us...  We thought for sure he was going to tell us to stop.... but he backed up and sped by us spraying us with a huge cold wave!!!  Then he came around and did it again!  I guess not all our neighbor are too old for a little rainy day fun! After we were done we walked home holding our umbrellas above our heads, even though we were soaked to the bone.  :) Fun times!

Chocolate

I really have no idea what possessed me to do this extremely random post, but that is ok. I love chocolate, so I thought I would give a brief discussion on chocolate. First, chocolate is a dietary staple. It should be kept in a house at any given time, and most definitely should be kept in emergency kits! What could be worse than using an emergency kit, only to discover it has no chocolate? Second, when it is being stored in a house, while is is waiting to be eaten, it should be kept flat. If it kept on its side, when it gets too hot, it all oozes together to make a very unappetizing mass. When it is kept flat, it doesn't matter if it gets melty because it will keep its shape! Thirdly, take care to make sure that chocolate does not run out! It is a disaster to want chocolate, only to realize that there is none to be found. Lastly, dark chocolate is the best, especially if is truffle filled. milk chocolate is fine, but not half as good as dark, and white chocolate has...

Goodbye braces!
